The Real Ghostbusters originally aired on ABC for its full run from September 13, 1986 to its last episode on October 5, 1991, repeats continued until September 5, 1992, except for the second season, which ran in weekday syndication from September 12 to December 11, 1987 at the same time as the third season ran on ABC. Some stations would remain running the reruns continuing to play in syndication through September 6, 1991, and later included episodes from seasons 1, 3, and 4. Later, reruns of the show appeared on the USA Network's USA Cartoon Express from September 7, 1992 to September 11, 1994. It was also shown on December 24, 1994 on ABC, and later on December 9, 1995 on CBS as a Saturday Morning special. 2 years later, it was syndicated on local stations on Saturday mornings for a short time from August 3 to August 31, 1997. Fox Family Channel also reran the series from August 17, 1998 to October 1, 1999. In August 2012, reruns began airing on Fearnet during the weekends, part of their "Funhouse" block, and on April 1, 2017, the show began to stream on Netflix, but was removed two years later. Then the show aired in Spanish on TeleXitos from 2022 to 2023. As of June 25, 2024, the show is currently airing on MeTV Toons. To celebrate the upcoming release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife, both The Real Ghostbusters and Extreme Ghostbusters were released onto the official Ghostbusters RUclips channel.

Judging by the quip in the intro, this seems to be the September 27, 1985 edition. The Emmys were September 22 that year.

Regardless of his actions, the shows and films he did show still be allowed to be shown so at least the characters he did shouldn't be included by what he supposedly did.

Iconic cartoon of the golden 70's.. cartoons were great in that decade and Fat Albert was one of the best. Regardless of Bill Cosby personal issues, he was executive producer of this show that had a moral lesson for each episode. I personally think a lot of children benefited from the lessons learned from this show.

In late 2008 I indeed went to the old Yankee Stadium’s wake and funeral (not really a wake and funeral but let’s say there was for that grand old historic ballpark that passed away at the age of 85) and it was so fit for a piece of history that would never be seen again but never forgotten as thousands of fans including myself all gathered around the abandoned stadium as it sat there as just a dead building (just like a dead body but as a thing and that doesn’t breathe talk move or anything like that because it’s man made) but as we sang amazing grace with a quier and a person playing it on the bagpipes to remember this place we then took our caps off put them on our chests bowed our heads closed our eyes and had a long moment of silence to pay our final respects to Yankee Stadium which was the new Yankee Stadium’s father building but then after the memorial service we had a reception for the grand old yankee stadium that turned 85 on april 18th 2008. RIP Yankee Stadium April 18th 1923-September 21st 2008. I still can’t believe that they took this piece of baseball history down and replaced it with a little league baseball field with two diamonds in it’s place, on June 16th of last year my brother myself my best friend Nic and our friend Sean actually ran on the little league field and we ran on a piece of history as we were very proud to be on a piece of history that was 99 years old at the time. Unforgettable time but we also froze in our tracks removed our caps bowed our heads closed our eyes and had a moment of silence as we were all paying tribute to the old yankee stadium
